Cupid is a symbol of Valentine’s Day because he was the son of Venus, the Roman goddess of love and beauty. Those cute little arrows he holds were actually magical arrows, believed to make those he shot fall in love.
But in our school we celebrated this day with acts of KINDNESS. We are trying to fill our classmates´ hearts with happiness by doing nice things and by saying nice things. We are trying to be "bucket fillers".
We made envelopes and wrote cute notes for our classmates to fill their emotional bucket! We cant wait to open the envelopes!
